Gessa hosts FWC Bear Management Program

This month GESSA hosted representatives from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) who discussed the Florida Black Bear management program. They highlighted bear population management issues, as well as how they use geographic and environmental skill sets within the program. They also provided information on internship opportunities for students interested in animal management within the FWC.
